FAQ

What does Scarfie do?

It tells you how much to layer for today's weather and recommends an Outfit from your own Closet for each Occasion — Work, Casual, Workout, Formal, Party, Festive, Travel, or one you define.

Where does my Closet live?

Entirely in your own iCloud. Everything you add — Items, Outfits, Looks, Wears, Plans, Trips and Places — syncs only through your private CloudKit database. Scarfie never sees it and never shares it, and the Account you sign into never holds it.

Do I have to photograph everything I own?

No. You can photograph an Item, pull one in from the Share Sheet, or pick a piece from the Starter library — a built-in set of studio-style clothing images tinted to the colour you choose. Any of the three becomes an ordinary Item you own.

What's free?

A Closet of up to 100 active Items, every daily Recommendation, the Canvas, Looks, Example Outfits, and weather guidance and planning ahead — those two are never paywalled, even on a free Closet.

What does Scarfie Plus add?

Room for more than 100 active Items, and Trips with Pack lists built from every day away. It's $0.99 a month or $9.99 a year (Save 16% against monthly), with a 7-day free trial.

Does Scarfie track my laundry?

No. Needs washing is a gentle reminder once an Item's been worn its threshold number of times since you last marked it Washed — Scarfie doesn't track laundry itself.

What if I retire something I no longer wear?

A Retired Item sits in a folded section at the end of your Items, isn't recommended or offered for new Outfits, doesn't count toward the 100-Item limit, and can be brought back any time.

Which platforms does Scarfie run on?

iOS, iPhone only for now.

When can I use it?

Scarfie isn't out yet. Join the beta program and we'll let you know the moment it ships.
